Alumina

The lightweight Alumina Model-C features a matte-finished aluminum alloy body with a custom pocket clip. Every pen comes with a removable ink converter and a pre-installed German nib.

Each Alumina part starts as a round bar of solid aluminum alloy before being machined on a CNC lathe into four separate pieces: barrel, grip section, cap body, and cap finial. Once the lathe shapes each component, parts are delicately refined to a matte finish. The clip is then shaped by hand, tumbled to soften the edges, and given a consistent matching finish. Finally, every pen is fully assembled, engraved, and QC inspected.

Aluminum is a soft metal and will show wear over time, with patterns varying based on use and storage. Prolonged contact with ink can cause corrosion, so eyedropper conversions are strongly discouraged. We recommend cleaning off any ink that sits in direct contact with metal surfaces.
